Ok, it’s official…my town is full of idiots. We are in desperate need of employment as we just lost a facotry with 250 jobs. An off-shore technology firm wanted to come to town if we would give them $200,000 in incentives. This would have created 70 jobs and occupied one of our many empty buildings.

Nope, nothing doing. The city council voted it down. We couldn’t trust them because they were based off-shore. So instead the company went 30 miles down the road to Macon, MO. Macon agreed and they got the 70 jobs. Way to go KV…way to go.
