The Advocate – Hartford police fines high school students for cursing
Oh this is just lovely. Hartford Public and Bulkeley Conneticut high schoolers are being fined $103 for curing at teachers or administrators. Fine, kinds shouldn’t be cursing at teachers, I’ll agree with that, but what does this really accomplish? Nothing. Not a blasted thing. And trust me folks these kids will find all sorts of way around it. Does the new rule cover curse words in other languages for instance? Which words exactly are covered? What about sound-alike words? Will you then fine them for intent?
This will work for about a week before the kids find ways around it.
