World Cup a big yawn in soccer-hating US – Yahoo! News

Could someone please explain to me why this sport doesn’t catch on here? It makes no sense to me! I’ll take a bad soccer game over a “good” football game any day. “Oh no! We’ve run for 10 minutes! Someone stop the clock!”

We’re getting down to the final 4 now, why not give it a try?

July 4th will be Germany Vs. Italy at 3:00 PM EST. On the 5th you can catch Portugal Vs. France at 3:00 PM EST. I would say give the Germany game a shot, that one promises to be a nail biter. Germany has a good shot at it this year I feel.

I will be watching every second of the game on July 9th.
