This was just bad taste from the get-go. Shari - Oh yeah, I don't think it has anything to do with suddenly being sensitive. It has everything to do with "oops! We finally went too far!" I was giving serious thought to quitting Fox all together, which would have sucked since I watch a lot of FX, which they own. I think Fox has to be wary of going so far over the line that viewers will turn on them. This show was the brink of the abyss for them in that regard. I think Fox has to be wary of going so far over the line that viewers will turn on them. This show was the brink of the abyss for them in that regard.

Sure, O'Reilly on Fox News spoke out, as did others from the news side of the company, the emails and complaints from the general public had to have been massive if it forced this.
