Isn’t it time for their naps?

Written by Sean P Aune  |  under General Rants, TV

I talked very early on in the debacle about how silly Donald Trump and Rosie were being….it just won’t die! Back-and-forth, back-and-forth, and the media sucks up every second of it. I hate talking about it as it feeds the beast, but dagnabit, I am so tired of these two playing a game of he-said, she-said, just call it a day, you both are whiny little idiots now. They have both made it impossible for me to sympathize with them. Shut up, count your money, and stay out of the papers!

I think that’s the first time I’ve ever seen someone use the word “dagnabit” in writing. Must be a Missouri thing, huh? ;-)

The media eats it up because the people eat it up. It may be difficult but these kinds of situations should be dealt with like attention-seeking, poorly-behaved children. Ignore them. Even bad attention (like saying you’re sick of it) is gratifying to them.

Gene Simmons used to say something along the lines of ‘love us or hate us…we don’t care…just keep talking about us.’ I think that much of the U.S. entertainment industry operates on this principle. If you’re seeing enough of it to be fed up with you, then you’re still listening/watching/reading and that’s what the media wants.

Shari – The problem is that has now become impossible to escape it! It’s everywhere!

    Roy – Bite me:)
