The DST 2007 update site is currently too busy to service your download. Please try again in a few minutes.

I have been seeing this message since yesterday on the BlackBerry site…

Constantly…

You make me so happy that I don’t have a cell phone. I didn’t even know you couldn’t simply manually re-set the time on them.

    Um… you can on mine…

I think the idea is that you need the download so that the time automatically changes when DST takes effect.

In Congress’ defense (Sean blamed them in the prior post), the change will likely save energy, and let’s not forget that they passed the thing more than two years ago. If anyone is to blame, it’s the companies that waited till the last minute or otherwise did half-assed jobs on software fixes.

Let me apologize in advance for taking seriously what I’m fairly certain Sean said at least partly in jest…

Something is really “off” with the site. The post is only on the left half of the middle section and this part I’m typing in is clear at the bottom!

Anyway — I got my DST2007 patch from T-Mobile text messaged to me 2 weeks ago for the BB. Sorry :(

Shari – You can manually change it, it would just be nice to have the software up to date.

Luis – Gun shy are we about my humor since the global warming post?:-p Yes, companies that waited are the true culprits here.

Jo – It should be fixed now. The link you gave me for the Axim site (thank you again!) came out weird in the recent comments on the side. Now that it has scrolled off there, it should be fine.

I got that text message too, but I could never get the stupid site to open! I tried multiple times!
