Where are the new iPods?

Rumor is a new Zune will be introduced on Monday. Wonderful, another crappy iteration of a sub-par player.

So… where are the new iPods? The last major line update was September 12th of last year, and that was just a size bump to the main players, the new Shuffles, and color changes to the Nanos. So… where are the sixth gens? Are they waiting for the iPhone release in June? Will we actually go all the way to the holiday season again? I know I’m just asking for trouble asking this, more things for me to drool on, but… I want new iPods in the marketplace darnit!

yep – blame the iphone! With that being all things in one they need it out before releasing what I bet will be the same basic format – turn screen with touch control – for ipod only!

I only wish the Iphone was on Sprint : (

Chele – Thanks! Yeah, I had a suspicion they were going to go this route in the near future.
