When my husband and I were doing a small mail order Japanese collectible records business, we had a person like this from a South American country. I think the postal service in Mexico and South America is pretty bad and prone to either theft or losing packages along the way. Anyway, one fellow was sent his item but it never reached him and he sent us a letter first asking where it was. When we told him we'd already sent it, he threatened to kill us for "ripping him off". People get very irrational about these types of things and they won't believe the other party no matter what. You can't let it get to you.
