I, Cringely

Written by Sean P Aune  |  under Internet

I, CringelyWhile researching my article for Mashable today, I stumbled across some articles by Robert X. Cringely on PBS.org.  It’s nice to know I’m not the only one who feels we as a country are being shafted in the amount of money we pay for our Internet connections.

As some of you may remember, I touched on this subject back in May and mentioned how our speeds are so much slower than the rest of the industrialized world.  Well, Mr. Cringely did a whole series on this subject and talked, of course, far more intelligently on it than I ever could.

Long story short, the U.S. is unlikely to ever regain its broadband leadership.  How sad is that?
