Apparently you don't know that Yahoo already has a new mail app out? If you're still using the same old Yahoo Mail, click on Options on the right and then again on the right, "The new Yahoo! Mail has arrived! Try it now!". While I really miss how Gmail handles threading, Yahoo's use of IMAP and a push-type native client for the iPhone was deciding factor for me.
