Shari - It's Obama's name. If someone wants to use his full name, that's their choice. In general I try to avoid political discussions here, but if someone wants to use a candidates full name, what am I supposed to do? If I say, "No, you can't use Obama's full name, you also can't use John Sidney McCain III, Hillary Diane Rodham Clinton, Willard Mitt Romney..." I'm not going to dictate name usage.

You're not going to comment on the cheap tactic of those (like your first commenter) who don't like Barack Obama so they refer to him as "B. Hussein Obama" in a weak attempt to draw a connection between Saddam Hussein and Barack Obama? It's an attempt to smear by (a non-existent) association.

If people don't like him, that's fine, but that's not about political disagreement. It's a childish attempt to sway the ignorant in a childish fashion and far worse than Oprah's crappy choice of celebrities to showcase on her show. It's also far more indicative of a larger problem in America where people resort to the shallowest attempts to influence voters rather than engage in intelligent discourse over issues.

I read her magazine only, for the fashion tips, etc - not for her. But saying this woman is good at being a mother is like saying the Pope is a Baptist. Crediability is shot all over the place. Or, they are relying on the fact that there are tons of robot viewers of these tv shows that don't/won't think for themselves. The Hollywood elite believe we are all sheep and they are the shepherd.
