I spent the better part of my weekend assembling a wardrobe, bed, and entertainment center, all of which were from ikea. I ended up doing a lot of extra work and, as you say, nothing is ever quite right. I had to make a run back to the store because the doors they gave me for the wardrobe that could be "customized" to fit any wardrobe size were about 1/2 an inch too tall. I suppose the ikea fellow doesn't understand that when I asked if the doors could be customized, the subtext was that I wanted the customized doors to fit properly. I completely agree with you, Sean.
