When I was a child I read The Long Winter by Laura Ingles and about the Donner Party.

Bad winters are not unprecedented. Perhaps your analysis of the cause needs to go a little deeper.

It wouldn't be global warming. Warming makes it warmer. The avg. U.S. temp fell 1.54 deg F last year, which means we are cooling a bit faster than the rest of the world. The entire world has been cooling since 1998.

Add me to the sick of being cold list. I can usually bear with my apartment being frigidly cold, since the room temp would get as low as 65 degrees (prior winters) but this season, it's dipped to 60-58 degrees in my apartment at night. I barely have any heat.

Um, I'm tired of it. In fact, my last blog post is dedicated to how winter can suck it. And I mean that, in the nicest way possible. Which is not really nice at all.
