Autumn Faulkner Arrested For Sex With 15-Year-Old Student
Autumn Faulkner, a 7th grade teacher from Elkins Middle School in Randolph County, WV, has been arrested for allegedly having a sexual relationship with a former student.
The 15-year-old boy in question had Ms. Faulkner as his social studies teacher when he was in the 7th grade, but no mention has been made as to when exactly the relationship between the two began. It is unclear why the police had probable cause to get a warrant to search the 26-year-old Faulkner’s home, but it is said they collected evidence both from her home and seized her 2004 Pontiac Vibe in the search.
Ms. Faulkner has been charged with one count of sexual abuse by a guardian and is being held on $50,000 bond in the Tygart Valley Regional Jail. If convicted she could face from 10 to 20 years in prison.
This women now joins the roll call of teacher sex scandals for 2009!

uhm mrs faulkner is the best teacher known to man and i seriously dont think this is true and yes im in her class this year she is my homeroom teacher and she is great at it!!! i can tell her anything and everything!!!

mrs.faulkner is the best teacher ever and i dont have her as a teacher but im also in 7th grade at ems and she is head of my club and ive known mrs.faulkner since last year and i also know the kid that she had sex with i love them both and i dont think she needs to go to prison and i think all these little news repoters need to stop trashing her rep. she has a son and a family and her sons going to hear about this all his life so lay off yes she made a mistake but i dont think it harmed the kid any cause if you read the paper he wanted it just as bad so just lay off for the sake of her son

As a former classmate of Autumn’s, I was very shocked to hear about this. If she is guilty of said charges (which by all accounts seems very likely), then she deserves to be punished for what she has done. There is a very clear line of right and wrong in the teaching profession, and it appears that she more than crossed it. Crimes such as this CANNOT go unpunished!!!

I think that she made a big mistake and personally i think shes quilty. Shes never gonna get another job. i like her a lot and shes the like coolest teacher ever, but she knew what she was doing when she did it and she did it anyway. i think the 15 year old is just as quilty as she is too because he also knew what he was doing.

i reallllly liked mrs faulkner, but i honestly think that she did it. i agree with that john hancock kid, lay off of her for her sons sake. he is the cutest little boy ive ever seen and his life is ruined. how do u think hes gonna feel growing up without a mom? terrible right? i still like mrs.faulkner but i think that what she did was wrong and she should get ounished in some way, shape, or form.
