Transformers Revenge of the Fallen Robot Pictures

Written by  |  under Movies

revenge of the fallen logoThe release of the second Transformers movie, Transformers Revenge of the Fallen, is quickly approaching, and at last we have some nice CGI images of at least some of the robots we can expect to see this time around.

The images don’t cover the enormous number of robots in this outing for the series, but it gives you a good sampling of what you can expect this time around from the returning characters as well as some of the newest additions to the franchise.

Below the cut are all of the new pictures, and you can click on any of them for a larger view (and larger views don’t have the character names on them).

Autobots From Transformers Revenge of the Fallen

ironhide

Back from the first movie, and not really a surprise to any one that he is still running around.

ratchet

Ratchet is back, but it is unclear for how much of the film because he was rarely seen on set (you know… in car mode).

sideswipe

One of my personal all time favorite Autobots is in this one, though he is drastically different looking then when he was around in the cartoon.

skids and mudflap

Skids and Mudflap are known as “The Twins”, and apparently they aren’t all that bright. Great, just what we needed was more comic relief.

Decepticons From Transformers Revenge of the Fallen

devastator

Devastator is the combination of six Constructicons: Demolishor (Terex O&K RH 400 Hydraulic Mining Excavator, torso), Long Haul (Caterpillar 773B dump truck, right leg), Rampage (Caterpillar D9 bulldozer, left leg), Scrapper (Caterpillar 992G scoop loader, right arm), Hightower (Obelco CK2500 Truss Crane, left arm) and Mixmaster (Mack concrete mixer, head)

the fallen

The Fallen that is mentioned in the title. He comes from a later comic series and is essentially the Transformers version of the Devil.

megatron

There are conflicting rumors if he only appears in flashbacks to Cybertron, or if he somehow comes back.

megatron tank

He isn’t a jet this time around, but instead is some sort of alien tank.

ravage

The ultimate Decepticon spy, and looking nastier than he ever did before.

starscream

Like we should be surprised he’s back.

These aren’t all of the robots from this film, missing for sure are:

Autobots

  • Arcee
  • Bumblebee
  • Chromia
  • Jetfire
  • Jolt
  • Optimus Prime
  • Unknown purple motorcycle
  • Wheelie

Decepticons

  • Constructicons (individual)
  • Scorponok
  • Sideways
  • Soundwave
  • The Doctor/Scalpel

In the prequel book, there's a motorcycle called Knockout who plays a big part in the book; that might be the other motorcycle.
