OK. This took me a while to figure out, but here is my take on the Susan Boyle phenom: In the first part of the clip, we see and hear a lady expressing herself just the way she is, because she cannot pretend to be anything she is not. We also hear the judges get some lifelong background from her, and allow her to state her singing talent objectives, capped with "I'm gonna rock this audience," which, as we all agree, she does-just like an earthquake rocks the mountains! Then Simon asks "OK, What's the dream?" and she tells him in her own words that she wants to be recognized as a singer, as good as Elaine Paige, which, up to this point, seems naive. She then blows the cobwebs out of the amps in the theatre, and the Judges change their tune, giving her the credit she is due. Finally, she shows her humble nature again as she realized her dream. Did I get this right?

I am a huge fan of Barbra Streisand, but so sorry Barbra, Susan's rendition of 'Cry me a river' blows your's out of the park. Get that cd out fast, I can't wait!

I've always loved this song, but it gives me goose bumps listening to Susan singing it!! Wow!!!!
