		<description>You know, I thought it was 50 years, but when I wasn&#039;t 100% sure, I looked it up on Wikipedia and it said 20.  I agree with you more then Wiki though :P </description>

		<description>One point: the series actually  takes place approx. 50 years in the future. It opens on an aging Batman. He&#039;s around 60 (say 30 years from now) and retires. Then the show jumps to 20 years later (not that we&#039;ll have flying cars by then either, but just sayin&#039;). 
 
Bruce Timm (BB producer) has also said in commentaries that one of the few rules for the show was that it takes place &quot;50 years from now. Whenever &#039;now&#039; is.&quot; 
 
Otherwise, pretty much agreed. Though I think I liked the show a little more than you did.
