I grew up watching it with my mom. Soap operas will not die altogether. I will say that Reality Shows are CR*P. I hate reality shows. It's not fair to lump 'DWTS' in with the other reality shows. It's more of a variety/action show. I hate 'The Bachelor/Bachelorette', 'Wife Swap', etc. They are done to death. I will say that 'DWTS' should only be on one (1) night of the week.
