Jay Leno’s Ratings Dip Below Conan O’Brien’s
Remember how the bad ratings on The Tonight Show were all Conan O’Brien’s fault? Who do you blame it on when he is no longer there?
After seven weeks back on The Tonight Show, Jay Leno’s ratings in the most important demographic, 18 to 49-year-old males, slipped below those of Conan O’Brien. For the week ending April 16th, Mr. Leno’s ratings in that demographic fell to 1.0, while Conan O’Brien’s ratings in that demo never slipped below 1.1.
What makes this even more amusing is that Leno has stronger lead in programming than O’Brien had, and even more insulting, David Letterman was in reruns all last week. Yes, he beat Letterman who had a .83 in that demo, but it was reruns for crying out loud, Leno should have been much further ahead.
The overall ratings for the show are up, but the audience is skewing higher than advertisers like to see.
So, tell me NBC, still happy with your decision?

Leno's not funny now and wasn't funny, well… ever.
I'd watch Dave in reruns or read a book before that whiney loser..
Good job NBC.. Stick to it.. Nothing But Crap for ever.
