The Avengers Filming Takes to the Streets of Cleveland
While The Dark Knight Rises has taken over the streets of Pittsburgh to stand in as the mythical Gotham City, and has hence leaked out a ton of photos and videos, now the same is happening with The Avengers. Filming in Cleveland, which is standing in for New York City, Chris Evans, spent the day yesterday in his Captain America costume, fighting … something/someone.
Here’s one picture and video, and then you’ll just have to follow after the jump.
The following four pictures come from Superhero Hype! Boards posters “xeno000″ and “marvel_freshman”.
In this one, the Captain calls where he’ll be hitting the next ball.
Apparently those two fingers are sewn together?
I can’t tell if he’s jumping or being propelled.

These next two photos add a lot of weight to the concept that the Skrulls – a race of shape-shifting alien warriors – will be part of the villains for the film. You can read more about them here.
Full body motion capture suits certainly suggest something will be placed over them via CGI.
