Prometheus Featurettes Give Us More Looks into the World

I have come to the conclusion that I have no clue how Prometheus is going to do at the box office.

While I think a great job has been done in marketing this film, it is coming off very much as “hard science fiction,” which doesn’t tend to do well at the box office.  When you start to get into debates about evolution and the origins of man, a certain segment of the audience just immediately turns off.  Now, don’t get me wrong, I am all for Hollywood making thinking movies, I actually encourage it, but for more of them to get made, they also need to make money.  An R-rated, “hard sci-fi” film in this climate where films are tanking left and right?  Well, I desperately want to see Prometheus, but we’ll just have to wait and see how many other people do.

For now, enjoy these two new featurettes.
