Supergirl’s Superman makes his debut bit.ly/2anAGRi
It seems fairy tales are all the rage on television these days, and more are on the way in the near future … possibly even two versions of the same one.
It seems with the success of shows like Once Upon a Time and Grimm, Hollywood is looking for more shows in the same vein. Along those lines, two scripts are floating around the studios right now that are both based on the tale of Sleepy Hollow.
The first one is apparently at development over at The CW with Grant Scharbo and Patrick Macmanus from Missing. This version would see Ichabod Crane as an FBI agent that goes to Sleepy Hollow to investigate a beheading.
Number two is from Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci (Fringe, Hawaii Five-0 and the Transformers films) and will be another retelling, but no further details are known as of yet. Apparently this one has landed at FOX and has a pilot commitment already.
Last season saw competing Beauty and the Beast shows and only one ended up at The CW that will launch this fall. There is no way both of these will get on the air, but it looks like the odds are in favor of the world ending up with one of them.
