Daniel Craig Signs on to Two More James Bond Films

Daniel Craig

Daniel Craig has signed on to two more installments in the James Bond series.

Skyfall, the next film in the James Bond series, marked the final film on Daniel Craig’s original contract for the films, but luckily he has already agreed to two more. Casino Royale (2006) is considered by many to be one of the best Bond films of all time, while Quantum Of Solace (2008) met with mixed reviews. Now after a four year hiatus he will return in Skyfall which already has many people excited from the trailers that have appeared. Bond 24 and Bond 25 are said to be returning to the two year rotation cycle, and will be co-productions between Sony Pictures and MGM.

The current plan would put Craig as the third longest servicing Bond (Roger Moore had seven, Sean Connery had six not counting Never Say Never Again which is not counted in the main timeline), and have him wrapping up at the age of 48. While not old by any means, it seems like the right age for a new Bond to step in, but we’ll just have to see what happens.
