Nine Years On – Another Blogging Milestone Passed

It’s hard to believe, but my ninth anniversary of daily posts passed earlier this week.

I originally aimed to go for five years, but here I am nine years later. The actual anniversary was March 12, but I wanted to save this up for the weekend. While the direction of the site has changed over the years, it was just out of necessity because it was difficult to come up with a new subject without any real direction every day. Even I have a limit to how much I can ran about, and focusing on entertainment/pop culture makes that a bit easier.

Traffic to this site, to be blunt, is horrible, but that was never the reason I started it. This blog was merely a way for me to have an outlet to practice my writing, and play around with the concept of running a site. While I blog more than enough professionally now, it has become a badge of honor saying I have stuck with this for so long. While I may quit it some day, it certainly won’t be before March 12, 2015 so I can say I did this for a decade.

To those of you who are loyal readers – and I know there are a few of you – thank you for reading along for all these months and years. I do greatly appreciate.

I now return you to your regularly scheduled rants about the stupidity of television and movie executives.

Oh… and there may be a redesign coming in the future. Keep an eye out for it!
