The CW renews 11 shows heading into next season

The CW spent Friday renewing the majority of its programming for next season with 11 shows getting the greenlight for additional seasons.

Fans of the various CW shows can breathe a sigh of relief knowing that all of their favorite shows are coming back. It appears that nothing was canceled, and the network is planning to move to a more year-round schedule to make room for new shows.

Here is everything that got picked up on Friday.

Of interesting note, the renewal for Supernatural makes it the longest running show to have come out of the old WB network. I don’t think anyone saw 12 seasons coming out of that one.

The CW has many shows going into pilot mode, so expect even more announcements from the upstart network.
