Disney has finally been dethroned from the top spot at the box office.
The Angry Birds Movie took the top spot at the box office with $39M. Combined with its foreign take it now stands at $82M off of a $73M budget.
Captain America: Civil War took second this weekend with $33.11M. It stands at $347.39M domestically and $1.053 billion globally off of a $250M budget. It marks the third Marvel film to break the billion dollar barrier.
Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising opened with $21.79M compared to the $49M opening of the original film just two years ago. Reviews have been good, so curious it came in so much lower.
Fourth place went to The Nice Guys with $11M.
The Jungle Book hung on landed in fifth place with $11M and now stands at $327.49M. Globally it stands at $857.69M off of a $175M budget.
