NEVERTHRONERS! To your #got bunkers! This is going to be a rough one!
I have lost the ability to be critical of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. I’m just going to put that out there.
Rogue One is basically going to have to kick a puppy at this point for me not to love it. Why? Well, visually it looks spectacular and unlike anything we’ve seen in the Star Wars films thus far. It is just a pretty, pretty movie. Secondly it is addressing a story I’ve wanted to know about since the very first time I saw A New Hope.
This is a story that is mentioned in that original opening crawl, and something that sparked my imagination before I even saw the Blockade Runner attempting to outrun the Star Destroyer.
As regular readers know, I can by hyper critical of movies, and I fully admit that, but something tells me I’m just going to love this thing from top to bottom.
Now, excuse me, I have to go watch the trailer for the tenth time.
Rogue One: A Star Wars Story hits theaters on Dec. 16.
