The latest Marvel movie has scored another win at the box office.
Doctor Strange won the box office this weekend with $84.98M. Globally it already sits at $325.38M off of a $165M budget, so Marvel clearly has nothing to worry about.
The new animated film Trolls came in second in its debut with $45.6M. It’s already racked up $104M in the foreign markets for a global total of $149.6M off of a $125M budget.
Mel Gibson’s Hacksaw Ridge debuted in third place with $14.75M off of a $40M budget.
Boo! A Madea Halloween fell to fourth place this weekend taking in $7.8M. It now sits at $64.99M off of a $20M budget.
Inferno debuted softly in second place and then took a massive nosedive this weekend to land in fifth place. The latest Tom Hanks thriller fell off 57.9 percent to take in $6.25M. It now stands at $26M in the U.S. and $185.35M globally off of a $75M budget. The U.S. isn’t going to carry this one clearly.
Next week’s big releases are Almost Christmas, Arrival and Shut In.
