Moana wins a third weekend at the box office

There is just no stopping Disney this year.

Moana is the latest in a string of hits for Disney. The latest animated feature from the House of Mouse took in $18.84M in its third weekend. Domestically it sits at $145M and globally $238.8M.

Second place went to Office Christmas Party which took in $17.5M off of a $45M budget.

Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them, the first in a new series of movies set in the world of Harry Potter, took third place this weekend with $10.78M for a new domestic total of $199.31M off of its budget of $180M. With its foreign numbers it sits at $680M globally.

Arrival landed in fourth place this weekend with $5.6M and now sits at $81.45M domestic and $129.85M global off of its $47M budget.

Doctor Strange came in fifth this weekend with $4.63M which brings its domestic total to $222.36M and globally to $645.76M off of a $165M budget.
