@JoleneAL_ Yeah, the lack of ability to contest is silly. Mistakes happen in bans all the time.
There is just no stopping Disney this year.
R0gue One: A Star Wars Story scored a second win at the box office this weekend with $127.9M for a new domestic total in the U.S. of $348M and a global haul of $523M off of a $200M budget.
Second place went to animated film Sing which took in $56M for a domestic total of $76.69M off of a $75M budget.
Passengers landed in third place with $23.1M for an overall total of $30.42M off of its $110M budget.
Fourth place went to Why Him? with $16.71M off of its $38M budget.
Assassin’s Creed opened in fifth place with $15M off of its $125M budget. Apparently the curse of video game adaptations isn’t ending any time soon.
No big releases this week so expect the chart to not change much.
Curious how I think these films will do? Check out my The Movies of 2016 – 4th Quarter report.
