@JoleneAL_ Yeah, the lack of ability to contest is silly. Mistakes happen in bans all the time.
The Force is still strong with the Skywalker saga.
The box office is winding down for 2016 and it’s time to start looking ahead to 2017 and what will be a hit. Fandango has released its annual list of the most anticipated films of the year, and while the top of the list isn’t much of a surprise, some studio heads have to be sweating the bottom portion.
Star Wars: Episode VIII being at the top is no surprise, but when you get down into the 20s, things get dicey. You’re talking films with huge budgets (T2: Trainspotting, aside) and having that little interest is not a good thing. The Transformers series is becoming more about the international market, but Alien: Covenant being down there, or The Mummy, is not a good sign.
2017 is going to be an interesting year to watch at the box office. A lot of big gambles are being taken, and I don’t think an awful lot of them are going to pay off.
