To no one’s surprise, Star Wars is still king.
R0gue One: A Star Wars Story scored a third win at the box office this weekend with $49.53M for a new domestic total in the U.S. of $424.91M and a global haul of $737.37M off of a $200M budget.
Second place went to animated film Sing which took in $41.45M for a domestic total of $165M and globally sits at $277.8M off of a $75M budget.
Passengers landed in third place with $16.15M for an overall total of $61.45M off of its $110M budget.
Creeping back into the top five, Moana landed in fourth place with $10.97M. Domestically it sits at $210M and globally at $402.46M.
Fifth place went to Why Him? with $10.6M for a new domestic total of $34.61M off of its $38M budget.
This week will see Underworld: Blood Wars, Hidden Figures and A Monster Calls.
