Hidden Figures wins a second weekend at the box office

After a surprise upset weekend, we have a new winner at the box office.

Last week the projections had Hidden Figures in second, but when the actuals came out it had won the weekend. It copied that success this weekend with $20.45M for a new domestic total of $54.8M off of a $25M budget.

La La Land took second this weekend with $14.5M for a new domestic total of $74M and a global haul of $128.88M off of a $30M budget.

Third place went to Sing with $13.81M and a new U.S. total of $233M and globally sits at $397.32M off of a $75M budget.

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story came in fourth at the box office this weekend with $13.75M for a new domestic total in the U.S. of $498.85M and a global haul of $979.95M off of a $200M budget.

Fifth place went to The Bye Bye Man with $13.37M off of a $7.4M budget.

This week will see Split> and xXx: The Return of Xander Cage/em>.
