Warner Brothers looking to rush DC film into production

A new report suggests that Warner Brothers is looking to rush a DC Extended Universe film into production as soon as possible.

According to Justin Kroll from Variety Warner Brothers is rather nervous about Aquaman being its only DCEU film next year with The Batman currently undergoing a page one rewrite. So what do you do when you already have a troubled film universe? Rush something into production.

‘Sirens’ is Gotham City Sirens which is set to star Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn again. Suicide Squad 2 seems a bit far fetched to get rolling quickly enough. Additionally, both of these films need Robbie who currently has a very full schedule.

Flash needs a director.

Green Lantern Corps was supposed to be way down the road.

Dark Universe (Justice League Dark) was supposed to be even further down the road.

It’s hard to imagine that any of these films are ready to shoot, but I’m not sure if that is enough to stop Warner Brothers. This is going to be interesting to watch, and I don’t mean that in a good way.
