Are you ready for another try at Charlie’s Angels? I hope so because it’s happening again.
Sony Pictures announced on Tuesday that it was dating a new Charlie’s Angels reboot film for June 7, 2019. The last film was Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle in 2003 and was the second film in Drew Barrymore’s reboot of the franchise.
The only reason I am even remotely interested in this film is that Elizabeth Banks is heading it up. She’s turning into a darn good filmmaker, and I like her artistic voice. Even with all that said, I’m just not that into this concept again.
Currently, the script is being reworked by Carlo Bernard and Doug Miro of Narcos. Previously it had been handled by Evan Spiliotopoulos (Beauty & the Beast). No cast is on board yet.
