@AshleyEsqueda Well that's a... surprise? Haven't thought about them in ages.
BBC announced the 13th actor to play Doctor Who on Sunday, and the honor goes to Jodie Whittaker.
Peter Capaldi will be vacating the role of the Doctor in this year’s Christmas Special which will air around the world on Dec. 25. There is no clue how much of Whittaker we will see at that time, but tradition teaches us at most we will get a few sentences before the episode ends.
Whittaker is best known for playing Beth Latimer on Broadchurch, which also happened to star the 10th Doctor, David Tennant.

No word yet on Wittaker’s companions, but that is sure to be announced in the coming months.
