@nunayobiznus It was SO bad. I'm kinda amazed at how it couldn't engage me even a little bit.
NBC is apparently looking to return to 1313 Mockingbird Lane… again.
A few years ago NBC tried to bring The Munsters back as an hour long series called Mockingbird Lane. It never made it past the pilot stage, although that test episode did air as a special. It was spearheaded by Bryan Fuller, and to be honest, it wasn’t horrible.
Well, as they say, try, try again. Now Jill Kargman and Seth Meyers are setting up another reboot that will see the concept return to its original 30-minute format used in the 1964 – 1966 series that aired on CBS, but it will transport the family from California to… Brooklyn?
Nothing else is known about the premise yet, but Kragman will write the pilot with Meyers’ Sethmaker Shoemeryers Productions’ producing.
Well, if you can’t get Frasier back, go for something absolutely no one cares about any more? The Munsters were a poor man’s Addams Family, and if you only run for two seasons in the 1960s when shows such as My Mother, the Car can get on the air, you’re doing something wrong even back then.
Just save us all the misery of this one, NBC. Just don’t do it.
