Hitman’s Bodyguard wins another horrible weekend

It wasn’t quite as bad as some expected, but it was still the worst 3-day Labor Day weekend in 12 years.

Sitting at the top of the box office this week is The Hitman’s Bodyguard with $10.25M, for a new $54.94M domestic take off of a $30M budget.

Annabelle: Creation held on to second place with $7.3M for a new domestic total of $88.97M off of a $15M budget.

Third place went to Wind River with $5.86M for a new domestic haul of $18.28M off of a $11M budget.

Leap! landed in fourth with $4.88M, for a new domestic total of $11.38M.

Fifth place went to Logan Lucky with $4.42M for a new domestic total of $21.45M off of a $29M budget.

Major releases finally return this week with Home Again and It.
