After two weeks of no real releases, the box office is struggling back to normalcy.
It came in at the top of the box office with a huge opening of $117.15M off of a $35M budget.
Second place went to Home Again with an opening weekend tally of $9M.
The Hitman’s Bodyguard landed in third place with $4.85M, for a new $64.89M domestic take off of a $30M budget.
Fourth place went to Annabelle: Creation with $4M for a new domestic total of $96.26M off of a $15M budget.
Wind River landed in fifth place with $3.21M for a new domestic haul of $25M off of a $11M budget.
Major releases finally return this week with All I See is You, mother! and American Assassin.
