Jungle Cruise Movie Delayed to Fill Marvel Hole buff.ly/2R2xkVT https://t.co/sPIMpzCU1j
We’ve taken a look at each of the films of the 4th quarter of 2017, but how is each month going to break down? Who will we be singing the praises of, and which films will be leading to studio executives packing up their offices?
Lets take a look, but there is something very unusual going on this quarter.
Other than Blade Runner 2049, there is nothing huge going on here. Jigsaw may get some traction, depends on how badly people want to return to the Saw universe.
November looks pretty healthy with Justice League and Thor: Ragnarok. Coco is a big question mark I think. Two comedy sequels with similar scenarios are going to cannibalize each other.
Star Wars: The Last Jedi… the only question is if it can get close to $2B or not. Jumanji may do okay. Pitch Perfect 3 will open well and decline fast.
There’s going to be some definite misses here. The box office has been in the garbage this year, and the 4th quarter is going to help, but it’s not going to save it.
My annual flop report is going to be a long one it seems.
