It may have won the weekend, but it came in way below estimates.
Blade Runner 2049 won the weekend with $31.52M, but it came in well below pre-release estimates. Globally it sits at $81.72M off of a $150M budget.
Second place went to The Mountain Between Us with $10.1M off of a $35M budget.
It landed in third place with $9.65M. Domestically it sits at $304.93M, and with its foreign haul of $298.8M for a global total of $603.73M off of a $35M budget.
Fourth place saw the opening My Little Pony: The Movie with $8.8M.
Kingsman: The Golden Circle rounded out the top five with $8.1M for a new domestic total of $79.96M and a global total of $253.57M off of a $104M budget.
Major releases this week include The Foreigner and Happy Death Day.
