Low-cost horror is still the king it would seem.
First place went to Happy Death Day with $26.5M off of a budget of $4.8M. Lower budget horror films just never seem to miss.
Blade Runner 2049 came in second with $15.1M, a drop of 53.9 percent from its opening. It now stands at $60.57M domestically. With its foreign haul, it sits at $109.81M off of a $150M budget.
Third place went to The Foreigner with $12.84M off of a $35M budget.
It landed in fourth place with $6M. Domestically it sits at $314.92M, and with its foreign haul of $306.6M for a global total of $621.52M off of a $35M budget.
Rounding out the top five was The Mountain Between Us with $5.65M for a domestic total of $20.5M off of a $35M budget.
