The Saw series is back, but it didn’t set the box office on fire.
First place went to Jigsaw this week with $16.25M off of a $10M budget. Not great, but not horrible.
Tyler Perry’s Boo 2! A Madea Halloween slipped to second place with $10M, a drop of 52.9 percent. It sits at $35.52M off of a $25M budget.
Third place went to Geostorm with $5.67M, a drop of 58.6 percent. It sits at $23.55M domestically, and $136.95M globally off of a $120M budget.
Happy Death Day landed in fourth place with $5M for a new domestic total of $48.39M off of a budget of $4.8M.
Rounding out the top five was Blade Runner 2049 with $3.96M. It now stands at $81.38M domestically. With its foreign haul, it sits at $223.38M off of a $150M budget.
Major releases this week include A Bad Moms Christmas and Thor: Ragnarok.
