CBS All Access is jumping into the reboot game yet again it seems with a modern reboot of The Twilight Zone.
Jordan Peele – hot off his hit film Get Out – is readying a new take on the classic Twilight Zone franchise. The series, should it go forward, would appear on the CBS All Access service in a manner similar to being used for Star Trek: Discovery.
Created by Rod Serling, the original Twilight Zone ran for five seasons on CBS from 1959 to 1964. It is considered a classic of television and featured many actors who later went on to much bigger careers such as William Shatner and Robert Redford.
Marco Ramirez is set to pen the scripts and serve as the series showrunner.
Twilight Zone is one of those properties many people hold dear, so they need to get this absolutely right to not be hated for even thinking of trying it.
