Thor is the god of the box office

Thor has a huge weekend… like Asgardian huge.

First place went to Thor: Ragnarok this week with $121M domestically and $306M overseas for a global total of $427M off of a $180M budget.

A Bad Moms Christmas opened in second with $17M off of a $28M budget.

Third place went to Jigsaw with $6.7M for a drop of 59.7 percent for a new total of $28.83M off of a $10M budget.

Tyler Perry’s Boo 2! A Madea Halloween landed in fourth place with $4.65M. It sits at $42.95M off of a $25M budget.

Fifth place went to Geostorm with $3.03M. It sits at $28.77M domestically and $182.37M globally off of a $120M budget.

Major releases this week include Daddy’s Home 2 and Murder on the Orient Express .
