Warner Bros. Rethinks its Approach to DC Films buff.ly/2FJyW4D https://t.co/PFQl4yJYi7
It seems that the hunt for a director for the 25th James Bond movie hasn’t quite been settled yet. And the hunt ay now be focused on an Oscar winner.
According to a report from Variety, Danny Boyle – who won an Oscar for his directing on Slumdog Millionaire – is currently being sought to take up the directors chair on the 25th James Bond film. Yann Demange had been considered the frontrunner for the job, but apparently, there is now a discussion to bring in a bigger name.
There is no word yet as to how much interest Boyle has in the project, but something needs to be decided soon. Once Daniel Craig was back on board, the attention turned to the director, and it’s actually a bit surprising this isn’t set in concrete yet.
If I have my choice, it will be Boyle, but we’ll have to wait and see what happens.
