Black Panther wins a second weekend at the box office

T’Challa extends his reign at the box office with a massive second weekend.

Black Panther had a massive hold in its second weekend dropping only 47 percent to take in $108M. Domestically it sits now at $400M and globally has hit $704M. This places it at the fifth highest domestic gross for the MCU and tenth on the worldwide list.

Second place went to Game Night with $16.6M off of a $37M budget.

Peter Rabbit took third place with $12.54M for a new domestic total of $71.29M off of a $50M budget.

Fourth place went to Annihilation with a $11M debut off of a $40M budget.

Fifty Shades Freed landed in fifth place with $6.91M for a new domestic total of $89.56M and a global total of $320.36M off of a $55M budget.

The major releases this week are Death Wish and Red Sparrow.
