Black Panther holds on to the box office for a fifth weekend

Nothing seems to be able to stop T’Challa.

Black Panther won a fifth weekend, something that hasn’t been seen since Avatar. It took in $27.02M. Domestically it sits now at $605.4M and globally has hit $1.182B globally. This places it at the second highest domestic gross for the MCU and fourth on the worldwide list.

Second place went to Tomb Raider with $23.52M domestically, and globally has hit $126M off of a $94M budget.

I Can Only Imagine took third place with $17M off of a $7M budget.

Fourth place went to A Wrinkle in Time with $16.56M for a new domestic total of $61.05M.

Love, Simon landed in fifth place with $11.5M off of a $17M budget.

The major releases this week are Pacific Rim Uprising, Sherlock Gnomes, Unsane, and Midnight Sun.
