RT @TechnoBuffalo: We've been working on [REDACTED] all day today and we can't wait to reveal this [REDACTED] to you on [REDACTED]
Deadpool is back… and he has a lot going on it would seem.
Deadpool 2 looks good. Lots of humor. Tons of action.
… and quite possibly way too many characters.
Let’s watch the trailer and then talk.
A common problem with sequels is adding too many new characters, and this one seems to be overflowing with them. Everyone from the original film is back and then we have more X-Men, we have mercenaries, we have Cable, we have Domino, we have Deadpool referring to X-Force… there’s a lot going on here, and that concerns me that some of this will be underserviced. Trust me, I know this is a comedy, but I still like at least some character development.
The new film ‘synopsis’ made me laugh, though.
After surviving a near fatal bovine attack, a disfigured cafeteria chef (Wade Wilson) struggles to fulfill his dream of becoming Mayberry’s hottest bartender while also learning to cope with his lost sense of taste. Searching to regain his spice for life, as well as a flux capacitor, Wade must battle ninjas, the yakuza, and a pack of sexually aggressive canines, as he journeys around the world to discover the importance of family, friendship, and flavor – finding a new taste for adventure and earning the coveted coffee mug title of World’s Best Lover.
Deadpool 2 hits theaters on May 18.
