It would seem that the release of Avengers: Infinity War the rest of Hollywood just decided it could take the day off as absolutely nothing else happened today.
Seeing as I only write one blog post a day you would think I it should be insanely easy for me to find something to write about each day. Well, usually it is. Every so often a day happens where you can’t find anything, but it would seem that everyone took the day off for the latest MCU film as no one is discussing anything else.
Avengers: Infinity War took in $39M Thursday night making it the top MCU opening night, and places it fourth on the all-time list. Currently, the predictions for the weekend are all over the spectrum as this is the biggest film ever to debut on this weekend. It’s going to be north of $200M, and more in the $220M+ range.
It’s going to be a long weekend for the analysts. What I’m more interested in is what happens after Avengers 4. Will fans stick around as the first chapter of the MCU will have drawn to a close. Enjoy this Marvel, I’m more curious what happens after next year’s Avengers film.
